BJ,
33 words for Trifextra: Week Seventy-Three and the prompt third time’s the charm. I remember how pesky the warts I had as a child were and what I tried to get rid of them. Raw potato peel, Dr Scholl’s, finally the Dr used liquid nitrogen. I even used liquid oxygen once when I was in the Air Force. I wonder if a medicine bag would have down the trick.

Ewwww but cool at the same time! I like these challenges….I’d like to try one! Where do you find them?
Here is the link. You should read some of the others, It really makes you think to do it in 33 words. http://www.trifectawritingchallenge.com/
Look forward to reading what you write.
That was different!
Thanks, I usually come off that way. I was going for a hex type of charm.
I’m lucky never to have gone through this affliction! A medicine bag is the kind of thing I would have loved though 🙂
I was told as a kid in Texas not to mess with the toads, you’ll get warts. Did I listen? Course not.
Aha – self-inflicted! 🙂
As with most of my issues.
sort of “out, out, damn spot!” 🙂
HaHa yep.
I used to get plantar warts from marching band. I found it fascinating to dig them out to see the roots and the little hole left behind in the foot. ….but maybe I’m just weird >__> lol
Inquisitive, that’s what I say. I was kind of obsessed with getting rid of those pesky warts myself.
Whatever it takes to get rid of it, I say! I had a wart on my finger as a child. Thank goodness the second dose of liquid nitrogen worked…I didn’t really want to find out if the third time was the charm 🙂
They are pesky, worrisome, annoyances. I used liquid oxygen on myself once to get rid of one while in the Air Force. It stayed gone.
I love how you wrote different than everyone else. (including myself) Original.
Thanks. Sometimes I wonder how my mind works. I wanted to use the charm part more than the idiom.
I believe that is the only way to write. You must write what you feel. Very good writing.
Here’s hoping it works! Love your creative take on the prompt. Well done!
Thank you so much.
Enjoyed your unusual take on the prompt. You left us hanging though.
That’s good. I think it worked.
